Vitamin B complex effective for cramps
We conducted a randomized, double-blind study to see if vitamin B complex could help older adults with nighttime leg cramps. Over three months, participants reported their cramp frequency and intensity.

The results were encouraging—86% of those taking vitamin B complex saw significant improvement, while the placebo group showed no notable changes. This suggests that vitamin B complex is a promising and safe alternative to traditional treatments like quinine, which can have unpleasant side effects.
We explored various treatments for leg cramps during pregnancy, including vitamin B complex. In our findings, oral vitamin B appeared to reduce the frequency and intensity of leg cramps in a small study involving 42 women.

However, the overall evidence was inconsistent and of low to very-low certainty due to design limitations and the small size of trials. Consequently, it's challenging to determine the real effectiveness and safety of vitamin B and other interventions for this common issue.
